Story
So, I made a bet that I could finish the Blackmores Sydney Marathon 2016 with less than 30 days of training. After a few practice runs, I actually think I have a shot at finishing the run and bringing home the prize of lifelong chronic knee pain. As a proud feminist (but mostly to mask my blatant narcissism), I've decided to use this ordeal to raise much needed funds for the One Girl Australia charity.
Just a quick disclaimer: Money raised will most likely go towards empowering women (whom would otherwise not have the opportunity) through education and access to basic healthcare. So if any of that sounds like a bad idea, then definitely DO NOT donate.
I'm gonna low ball my fundraising goals in hopes of exceeding them by at least a bazillion dollars. If everyone puts in $8.46 AUD (Or what I like to call exactly a week's worth of generic brand canned tuna lunch from a reputable grocer), I think we can smash our goal.
