In Australia a child dies of abuse every 15 days*. Are you okay with that? This is a growing national problem with reports of child abuse increasing 33% in just four years.

Barnardos Australia has been at the forefront of child protection for over 130 years, finding real, permanent solutions for Australia’s most vulnerable children. Every day they work to strengthen communities and help families in crisis, dealing with violence, poverty, mental illness and homelessness.

I'm one of the lucky ones with good health and no violence or poverty to worry about. I am taking part in the Blackmores Sydney Running Festival 2016 and also helping to raise much needed funds for Barnardos.
